Baby Mantra is built to be calm and private. You don’t need an account, there are no ads, and the app contains no third-party analytics or tracking. This policy explains the little data that exists and where it goes.

Data that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your iPhone and is never sent to us:
- Your settings and preferences, such as your default sleep timer and dim mode.
- The names and age range you enter during setup, for example your baby’s first name.
- Your favorites, saved mixes and recently played collections.
- Your voice recordings. Recordings never leave your device.
Deleting the app deletes this data. Your device backups (such as iCloud Backup) may include it, under Apple’s terms.
Microphone
Baby Mantra uses the microphone only while you are recording, after you tap the record button. Audio is saved as a file on your device and is not uploaded or analyzed.
Bedtime reminders
If you turn on bedtime reminders, the reminder is scheduled as a local notification on your device. No server is involved.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a subscription service, to confirm what you’ve purchased. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device and your App Store purchase receipts. It does not receive your name, email or recordings. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Feedback you send
If you use the optional in-app feedback form, we receive the message you type, plus your email if you choose to add it, the app version, your device platform and the baby age range you entered. We use it only to improve Baby Mantra and to reply to you. It is delivered to us through a private messaging channel and is not shared with anyone else.
Website and waitlist
If you join the launch waitlist on babymantra.app, we receive your email address and approximate country, used only to tell you when Baby Mantra launches. The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Children’s privacy
Baby Mantra is used by parents and caregivers to soothe their children. It is not designed to be operated by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The baby name and age range you may enter stay on your device. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since almost everything stays on your device, the only data we may hold is feedback and waitlist emails. Write to hello@babymantra.app and we will respond within 30 days.
We rely on your consent (feedback, waitlist) and our legitimate interest in providing and securing the app and website (purchase verification, server logs). We keep feedback and waitlist emails only as long as needed for these purposes, then delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
